Great day last Saturday with 207 children enjoying the second event at Branford Park. It's all go again this Saturday with the final run at Miyazu Gardens and we are looking for more registrations, so if you missed the first two sign up below for this Saturdays run. Remember you only register once for all the events.![]()
Let the fun continue, the very popular free three race cross-country series is organised by Athletics Nelson with fantastic support from Atawhai 4 Square. It's all about the fun of the run.![]()

Note this is a new series with new grades so everyone must re-register for these events, to speed up registration on the day please register before arriving at the start line, you only have to register once for all the races. Big day at Branford Park with 207 finishers for the Atawhai Four Square Nelson School Cross Country League race two over 1km, 2km and 3km. Once again held on a great Autumn day with the under footing a big wet in places after rain the day before, this course had 2 creek crossings and a couple of little undulations to make it very different from last weeks, everyone seemed to enjoy the course with many big smiles at the finish line. Once again congratulations to all the competitors over the 2 starts and 3 distances also to the many parents who accompanied their children especially over the 1km distance. We trust you enjoyed the experience and we will see you all for race three and final at Miyazu Park next Saturday. a small field for the senior race with many other events on around the country taking away a lot of the other competitors, however everyone enjoyed the course which had a creek crossing, a small undulation and some surface water on the cross country course of approximately 6km around Branford Park.
