- Casual Walkers - Start: 1:45pm. Briefing at the Start Line.![]()
- Fast Walkers & Slower Runners (70+mins for 10km) - Briefing: 2:00pm – Start: 2:15pm![]()
- Runners - Briefing: 2:00pm – Start: 2:30pm.![]()
- If you don’t think you can run or walk 10km find someone for a 2-person relay and do half each.![]()
$10 entry fee - free for Athletics Nelson & Waimea Harrier members, school kids & youth - Waimea Harrier event![]()

Meet at Smugglers, Muratai Street Tahuna. Different course each week, open to everyone from beginners to the serious athlete. $5 entry fee, (14 & under free). 6.00pm start enter on the night - heaps of spot prizes. NOTE: arrive early to register, bit of a walk to start line. Race three be The Beach course. Don't miss this one, bring a friend along and enjoy the run/walk together. Everyone is welcome and a great way to get out and compete with other walkers and runners, great training for the Nelson Half.
