Wednesday - Smugglers Spring 5km race 5![]()
Final of this October series. Meet at Smugglers, Muratai Street Tahuna, open to everyone from beginners to the serious athlete. $5 entry fee, (14 & under free). 6.00pm start enter on the night - heaps of spot prizes. NOTE: arrive early to register, bit of a walk to start line. Race five is a flat course through the Nelson Golf Course. Don't miss this one, bring a friend along and enjoy the run/walk together. Everyone is welcome and a great way to get out and compete with other walkers and runners, great training for the Nelson Half. Saturday - Berryfields Pack Run & Walk![]()
Social pack run or walk starting at the Sprig + Fern, The Meadows Richmond. Meet at the back entrance of the Sprig + Fern – opposite the grass area. Please be there at 2:25 pm for the briefing. Runners and Walkers all start at 2:30pm. note that the course crosses Lower Queen Street twice so children will require parental supervision. Run an out-and-back course where everyone starts at the same time. After 30 minutes, then all turn around and head back. It’s a social run, so you’ll naturally fall into smaller groups with others running at your pace. It’s a great chance to meet new people, share the experience, and enjoy a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
