Saturday - Two Thumb
meet at Two Thumb New Street Nelson, a new undulating course up & over Cleveland Terrace and return via the Maitai walkway. 6km approx not to be missed.
walkers and early runners – 3.45pm, runners – 4.00pm

Sunday 16 - Mt Robert Fell Run
Are YOU up for the challenge?
Fantastic iconic trail run 17km approx, everyone is welcome. Early walkers/runners from 9.00am, rest at 10.00am. meet at the DoC Centre St Arnuad, Join up with a few friends and share the car trip over, only condition is competitors not park cars in the car park in front of the Visitor Centre. All competitors must be self-sufficient, carrying enough protective clothing to cope with a sudden change to inclement weather, or a sprained ankle forcing a prolonged descent from the alpine altitudes, as well as water and a snack bar. Carrying a cellphone is recommended. No one can easily come and check on you, let alone carry you down. There will be a drink station at the Mt Robert car park. Water may also be available at Bushline Hut but this will be dependent on rainfall. There are no marshals on the course, just a few arrows in places lower down to guide you out and back. Prizegiving at the Alpine Lodge from about 1.00pm. Trophies for 1st man and woman. Race is open to everyone - no entry fee - enjoy the views! Are you up for the challenge? The event will be postponed if the forecast is for bad weather.
