Atawhai 4 Square School League race two![]()
Big day at Branford Park with 207 finishers for the Atawhai Four Square Nelson School Cross Country League race two over 1km, 2km and 3km. Once again held on a great Autumn day with the under footing a big wet in places after rain the day before, this course had 2 creek crossings and a couple of little undulations to make it very different from last weeks, everyone seemed to enjoy the course with many big smiles at the finish line. Once again congratulations to all the competitors over the 2 starts and 3 distances also to the many parents who accompanied their children especially over the 1km distance. We trust you enjoyed the experience and we will see you all for race three and final at Miyazu Park next Saturday. a small field for the senior race with many other events on around the country taking away a lot of the other competitors, however everyone enjoyed the course which had a creek crossing, a small undulation and some surface water on the cross country course of approximately 6km around Branford Park.
