The cross country event that everyone looks forward to, one of the last old fashioned courses with lots of hills, mud, water crossings & heaps of fun, meet at Cable Bay Adventure Park, Hira. Race start is 2.30pm arrive early as bit of walk to start everyone is very welcome, runners, walkers and especially juniors. 6km senior runners, 4km walkers and juniors 2km approx. Note juniors & club members (Athletics Nelson, Waimea and Marlbourgh) free non-club members $10.00. Afternoon tea and refreshments at the venue after the event. Another great day for this years event. Congratlations to Hayden who won the 20km run. No grade placings available but we suspect the big Nelson contingent did well. Fantastic event put it on the calendar for next year.
