start street light opposite Hangar58, right into Halifax Street,
join Maitai walkway, stay on walkway until big paddock,
cross paddock to the ford across the Maitai, left onto Maitai Valley
road, follow road and turn right at letterboxes to lower part of
centre of NZ, run across Botanics to footbridge, turn right back onto
walkway and finish where you started.
