Wednesday - Sprig & Fern Tahuna![]()
Meet at Sprig & Fern Beach Road Tahuna. Different course each week, open to everyone from beginners to the serious athlete. $5 entry fee, (14 & under free) enter on the night - spot prizes. Note everyone starts together at 6.10pm, arrive early to register, bit of a walk to start line. Race three will be another new flat course around the Tahuna skating building and motor camp. as usual at this time of year it is dark so compulsory to wear bright clothing no black or dark blue tops, along with reflectors and a light. Be bright be seen. Bring a friend along and enjoy the run/walk together, great training for The Nelson Half. Everyone is welcome and a great way to get out and compete with other walkers and runners. Saturday - Sprig & Fern 10km Motueka![]()
Extend your range beyond your usual running spots and head out to Motueka. Run or walk part of the Great Taste Trail and the scenic Motueka Estuary. It's a fast, flat course with beautiful native flora and fauna to look at while you scoot along towards your PB. Walkers and Runners of all ages and abilities welcome! Meet at Thorp Bush Reserve, Woodlands Avenue entrance. Note that there are roadworks near the entrance to the Reserve and while it will be possible to enter Woodlands Ave on Saturday, you must enter at the north end by the Supermarket and park within 100m or so from the Thorp Bush entrance. Please do not come in to Woodlands Ave any other way in case the road is still not fully open. You might also consider parking near the Sprig + Fern and walking to Thorp Bush.![]()
