it's a great way to get out and compete or socialise with fellow runners and walkers. No time limits, we will be at the end for as long as it takes, a great series for the first timers to come and give it a go, it's a fantastic time of the day to get that run or walk in & have the rest of the day to relax. Saturday - Wakefield Roaster![]()
The Wakefield Roaster - a 5km and 10km fun run or walk. This event takes place on a lovely course through Wakefield and the surrounding countryside. ![]()
Registration: 2:15pm to 3.00pm outside the Wakefield Police Station. Note Start Times: 3:10pm Start for 10km walkers. 3:30pm Start for all 5km competitors and 10k runners. Entry fees: $5 for the 5km event, $10 for the 10km event. Free for juniors, youth students and paid-up 2025 members of Waimea Harriers & Athletics Nelson.
