Rabbit Island Trails![]()
Meet at Moturoa / Rabbit. There will be three courses of approximately 3.5km, 7km and 10km on trails, plus a shorter course option for very young Juniors All options start and finish in the Totara Park picnic area.![]()

While planning on this event going ahead at this point, please check the Waimea Harriers Website or Facebook on Saturday morning in case weather conditions require to cancel the event. Saturday - Richmond 10km![]()
Sprig + Fern fun run and walk. Meet at Bill Wilkes Reserve, Richmond, Hunter Avenue entrance. A great undulating course over the urban foothills of Richmond.![]()
- Registration Opens at 1.30pm and closes promptly at 2.00pm![]()
- Casual walkers start: 1:45pm![]()
- Walkers start: 2:15pm.![]()
- Main running group starts: 2:30pm.![]()
If you don't think you can run or walk 10km on Saturday, but still want to take part, find someone to pair up with for a 2-person relay with each of you doing 5km. This option is mainly aimed at walkers and juniors and you will need to manage your own change-over at the 5k water station (corner of Hill & Queen Streets). Course map on club websites . Everyone and all abilities are welcome. There is a $10 entry fee, Free for paid up members of Athletics Nelson, Waimea Harriers, school children and youth students.
