Saturday - Wallace Shield one![]()
The winter season begins with race one of the Wallace Shield. In this "Guess your time" event, participants run or walk without watches or phones. At registration give your estimated time for running or walking your chosen distance. The winner is the person whose finish time is closest to their estimated time.![]()
Meet at the Old Domain, Rabbit Island on Saturday afternoon. There are three distance options:![]()
- Adult & high school runners: 3 laps (5km)![]()
- Walkers: 2 laps (3.4km)![]()
- Juniors (Intermediate/primary/pre-school) choose from1 lap (1.7km) - 2 laps (3.4km) - 3 laps (5km).![]()
Registration is from 1.30pm - 2:15pm in the Old Domain picnic area. Race briefing 2.20pm. Race start 2.30pm. Every competitor needs a Webscorer number. check websites for course map and webscorer links to check your number. Waimea Harrier event. next week Wallace Shield two.
Harris Hill Top Challenge - Entered yet? ![]()
- why wouldn't you - Sunday 13 April a great opportunity to run on some great private trails with fantastic views across Nelson and Tasman Bay. Start, finish and prize giving at The Summer House on Harris Hill, Atawhai Nelson, food and refreshments available after your run.
