Saturday - Maitai Trail Run![]()
meet Maitai Golf Course, Maitai Valley, new car park just past the club house, 2 great courses one very undulating the other mainly easy and flattish.![]()
- Long Course - undulating trail loop run taking in an uphill zig zag back via Golf Road, 8km approx![]()
- Short Course- loop flat run along the Maitai track 4km approx, ideal for walkers and juniors![]()
All ages and abilities of runners and walkers are welcome, race briefing at 2.20pm. Everyone starts at 2.30pm, come along and give a club run a go, no entry fee, you will enjoy the course and a great time to join the club Athletics Nelson, See you all there![]()

Cross-Country at Martin and Jill Bonny’s farm, 297 Tapawera-Baton Road, Tapawera about 50km/40 minutes drive from Richmond so make sure you note the early start times. check websites for location map. A traditional rural Cross-country course with 3.3km laps that will take you through private farmland gentle hills and quite possibly some mud! All ages and abilities of runners and walkers are welcome. Registration is on the farm at the barn from 1pm with the event briefing at 1:45pm.![]()

- Walkers: 1 or 2 laps of a 3.3km loop course - Start at 1:45pm![]()
- Runners: 1, 2 or 3 laps of a 3.3km loop course - All runners start at 2:00pm![]()
- Younger Juniors: 1.7km ‘Rascal Romp’ loop - Start at 2:05pm![]()
Bring a plate for a shared afternoon tea at the farm house, tea and coffee will be provided. - Waimea Harrier event.![]()
